So much to do, so little time.

Take a moment to consider your agenda for the week ahead. What critical meetings do you need to attend to, what important tasks do you need to complete?

It might be useful to think about the impact and payback of all the tasks and then select one that has a significant impact and payback. One that will make a difference. That’s your Goal.

Now think about Reality of the situation. How likely are you to complete the task? What else might get in the way? Who might you need to involve in order to achieve success? Is this Goal really your top priority of urgent and important or are you simply picking “the low hanging fruit ?”

Now what are your Options? How might you go about completing the task? Are there other opportunities to be had? Are there numerous ways in which the task may be completed? How many can you think of? What’s are the pros and cons of each option?

Final question - so by When? When will you have completed this task? How likely are you to do it? On a scale of 1 to 10 how likely? If you are a 7, 8 or 9 - what needs to happen to guarantee success and move you to a 10?

That’s the GROW model in its simplest form? A highly effective way of making progress in many aspects of your life. That’s why I decided to call my business Grow Coaching and Development and that’s why I am the GROW coach.
